October 14, 2008 - Tin Star, located at 1008 McDermott Dr. Allen, TX, will donate a percentage of their sales to Girls on the Run. Join us between 4:00 - 9:00 pm for a great meal and a support a great cause.

October 29, 2008 - To learn more about Girls on the Run and opportunities for coaches plan to attend an Informational Meeting.  The meeting will be held at Joe Farmer Recreation Center 1201 Bethany Road Allen, TX from 6:30 - 7:30 pm.  Hope to see you there and getting ready for a terrific Spring season!

The Wondergirl 5K on April 19, 2008 was a huge success!  The weather was beautiful and Andrew Brown was a perfect location for the race.  Thanks to the sponsors who support the event and make is possible.  National sponsors:  New Balance, Goody StayPut, Kellogg's Frosted Flakes and Horizon Fitness.  In addition to the national support, the local New Balance retail store provided the overall winner gift certificates.  The race couldn't have been so successful without the many volunteers helping with registration, the course guides, cheering and water station coverage, finish line management and clean up.  Of course the race wouldn't be the "Wondergirl 5K" without the beautiful girls who celebrate their accomplishment together on that day.  Coaches, thank you for your commitment to the girls and Girls on the Run.
